What is Random Rewards(R)?
Random Rewards(R) is a Mystery Bonusing System that is designed to increase casino activities and customer
loyalty by directly rewarding members for gaming and/non-gaming activities with randomly generated rewards,
eg: cash, reward points, prizes or any combination of (Random Awards) of all sizes and types from a fixed or
progressive prize pool.
Random Rewards(R) is the only proprietary Mystery Bonusing System in the industry that allows operators to:
*   Determine the average value, frequency and type of Random Awards from a fixed or progressive prize pool.
*   Transform a progressive prize pool into a dynamic Mystery Bonusing System that awards loyal members.
*   Random awards of all sizes and types from a continually growing prize pool until one loyal member wins
    the total Random Rewards jackpot.
*   Fund the prize pool through a percentage of coin-in and/or non-gaming revenues (eg: promotional allowances,
    point of sales etc).
*   Randomly select and reward members Random awards based on individual member status level.
*   Determine and randomly select any gaming or non-gaming activity to qualify members to win Random Awards.
Functionality:
Random Rewards functionality is implemented through the configuration that occurs in the One Link Slots(R)
Director software and is then downloaded to the One Link Jackpot Controller. Random rewards can be
implemented with a local jackpot controller and amounts are displayed on in-machine meters.
Random Rewards functionality is implemented through the use of two levels:
Machine Level Prizes: Manages and awards Machine Level prizes (the individual prizs that are awarded to the
machine). The MIC within the EGM will send an event to the jackpot controller. After this event has been
logged, the JPC will randomly select a qualified machine on the link and award a machine level prize.
Floor Level Prizes: Manages and awards the floor level prizes (the progressive values that are shown above
the bank of machines). each time an event is sent to the jackpot controller by the MIC, the JPC will keep a
log of all the events. Once a predetermined number of events has been logged, the JPC will randomly select
a qualified machine on the link and award the floor level prize.
