REGRESSIVE PROGRESSIVE(TM) is Paltronics' name for a jackpot game that alternately increases and decreases after each jackpot prize is awarded.

The jackpot begins incrementing from a start-out amount, towards a finishing amount.

For example, the jackpot "Starts" at $100.00 and "Finishes" at $200.00. The jackpot increments from $100.00 to $200.00, like a normal mystery style jackpot until awarded to the player. The displayed jackpot amount then "Starts" from the previous maximum amount, in this example $200.00. The jackpot then then decrements towards the previous minimum amount, in this example $100.00 until awarded.
